Job Title: Play Coordinator (Weekends)

Location: 1205 Mayberry Place, Walworth, NY

Job Type: Part-Time

• 8-11 hours per week (Hours may vary based on Parties/Events scheduled)
• Saturdays & Sundays (9am-1pm) + Saturdays (5pm-8pm) as needed
• Looking to start March 2026

Compensation: $17 - $19 per hour based on experience

Description:

The Playpen is a children’s indoor play center in Macedon, NY that focuses on open play, crafts, and events for children ages 1-10. We are currently looking to hire a Weekend Care Coordinator that would be responsible for ensuring families receive a friendly, clean, safe, and creative environment to visit.

The Care Coordinator must be professional, organized, creative, friendly, and pay attention to detail and cleanliness. Initiative and a willingness to learn is a must. The weekend shift will oversee our Stay & Play and Drop & Go services, as well as the occasional Date Night Drop Off.

Required Skills:

• At least 2 years of experience working with children in a professional setting (daycare, play center, nanny)
• Willing to solely take care of up to 6 children at a time for our drop off service (Ex. individualized play/feeding/changing diapers/etc.).
• Willing to manage phone calls, emails, and texts to service customers in a timely manner.
• Able to keep the facility sanitized and tidied up on a consistent basis.
• Able to create and conduct crafts and activities for the children.
• Coordinate with food and supply vendors.
• Able to set up/decorate/host Birthday parties and special events.
• Must pass a background check and follow our employee policies.
• CPR Certified.
• At least 18 years of age.

Preferred Skills:

• Marketing experience (social media/community events/canvassing/email/direct mail) strongly desired.
• Event management/hosting.
• Experience with Point-of-Sale systems.
